Muck away refers to a specific rubbish removal service referring to the removal of waste from a site during construction and earthwork operations. There are three main types of muck away, Inert Muck Away, Hazardous Muck Away and Non-Hazardous Muck Away.

Inert Muck Away refers to the removal of waste which has not been treated or changed through chemical or physical means. This includes concrete, hardcore soil, subsoil, tiles and most ceramics. 

Hazardous Muck Away refers to the removal of waste which may cause damage to people’s health or the health of the environment in general. This includes asbestos, solvents, contaminated soil and invasive vegetation like Knotweed. 

Non-Hazardous Muck Away refers to non-inert material that are not listed as hazardous in the ‘List Of Waste (2005)’ regulations. This includes waste with a high gypsum content, topsoil and plastics.

Our muck away services operate across the Sussex area from our base in Shoreham, West Sussex. We can collect waste from areas including Brighton & Hove, Lancing, Shoreham, Ditchling, Plumpton and Hurstpierpoint.
